Costumes

The costumes of the period of the Grand Duke were traced from the iconographic tradition of which the main source is the volume of drawings published in 1796 by Carlo Lasinio.
For the Renaissance period Ghirlandaio, Crivelli, Paolo Uccello, Sassetta and other great Florentine painters of the Renaissance were the source for the first researches, and then the development and creation of the costumes worn.
In both these sets of costumes, the greatest attention has been paid to finding the correct fabrics, in order to maintain the consistency of the materials and the colors of the relative periods.
